Our Mission

Cross Tech Outreach is a Colorado Springs area non-profit ministry aimed at helping smaller non-profit ministries succeed with their technological needs. Whether it is desktops, laptops, or other equipment, Cross Tech Outreach aims to provide qualifying non-profit ministries with free technology to ensure the success of their mission.

Eligibility

  • Must be a 501c(3) nonprofit ministry or church
  • Must be able to set up and utilize the hardware provided, whether with a dedicated, titled onsite IT staff member, trained IT volunteer, or a 3rd party IT company
  • Must operate in Colorado Springs, Widefield, Security, Fountain, Manitou Springs, Woodland Park, Divide, Monument, or Castle Rock
  • Must be able to pick up the hardware in person or donate to cover shipping costs

Who is not eligible?

  • Individuals
  • For-profit entities
  • Non-ministry related non-profits

What Kinds of Hardware are Available for Donation?

  • Computers, including desktops, laptops, and Apple computers (Macs).
    Desktops and laptops are upgraded with extra memory and with Solid State Drives where available. (Note: Monitors are NOT included and must be requested separately, except for all in one computer solutions).
  • Monitors.
  • Custom requests, such as desktops with extra storage space and memory, may be available upon request and approval of your application and needs.
  • Enterprise grade switches, firewalls, and other infrastructure equipment may also be available depending on your organization’s needs and ability to configure the equipment properly to fit your needs.

What can I donate to the cause?

  • We currently only accept technological donations from corporate sponsors to ensure only business grade equipment is donated
  • We currently only accept technological donations that are in working order without any excessive wear and tear (dings, dents, scratches are fine)
  • Computers newer than 8 years old
  • Desktops
  • Laptops
  • Apple Computers
  • New monitors
  • Financial donations

What do you not take?

  • Non-functioning laptops or desktops
  • Computers greater than 8 years old
  • Monitors (unless new)
  • Hard drives
  • Non-new accessories such as keyboards and mice
